4-7-8 Breathing Exercise Follow Along
Instructions
- 4-7-8 Breathing exercise benefits include decreased anxiety & hypertension, improving sleep quality, manage food cravings, managing stress and keep your emotions under control.
- Make sure you are relax and in a comfortable sitting position. The exercise will last 3 mins & 10 secs.
- Inhale through your nose for 4 seconds, hold your breath for 7 seconds, exhale through your mouth for 8 seconds.
- You might feel light-headed or dizziness if you are new to this.
- For best result, do this exercise in a quiet environment without distraction. Put on your headphones to block any noise.
- Do this exercise twice per day (morning and evening) for 4 weeks, we are interested to hear from you if it helped you. cshaopin@gmail.com
Caution
- Don't do this after high intensity training, rapid heartbeat, smoking/vaping. You should do this exercise when your body is in a relaxed state.
